Corporate Safety and Health Management Policy Statement
Cyma Builders & Construction Managers considers the personal safety and health of its employees, subcontractors and client personnel to be our greatest responsibility. Occupational safety and health will not be compromised due to the demands of project schedule, production or cost.
Cyma Builders requires all contractors to understand and abide by any and all applicable OSHA Safety and Health Standards. In addition, any applicable state and local regulations will be observed and complied with. In the interest of worker safety, Cyma will require measures exceeding OSHA’s standards where conditions and experience warrant.
Cyma Builders and Construction Managers considers occupational safety and health essential for several reasons, including:
- A moral and ethical requirement to provide a safe and healthy workplace for employees and contractors.
- Compliance with state and federal safety and health regulatory requirements.
- The minimization of both Cyma’s and the host facility’s liability exposure related to occupational injuries and illnesses onsite.
- The maximization of productivity in the form of reduced downtime, retraining, damaged work, etc.
