Johnson & Johnson – M9-9417 HEPA Readiness Lab

Cyma entered agreement with JnJ to renovate Lab 9417 to BSL2+. The entirety of the existing lab was gutted as new HVAC, electrical, and lab gases were implemented. Nitrogen, Argon, and DI were distributed throughout the space. A new stainless-steel passthrough was installed along with three BSC’s, fixed casework, and overhead utility panels. There were several balancing challenges overcome at the end of the project given simultaneous controls upgrades throughout the building. Overall, this project was delivered to the lab user group in Q2 2026 under budget.
