BIM and VDC

Cyma has embraced the use of Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) and Building Information Modeling (BIM) on a large majority of our complex projects. As a CM, our mission is to ensure the design team and the subcontractor pool are aligned prior to any field implementation. Bringing shop drawings to a 3D Model version helps the team see the bigger picture. We emphasize weekly BIM meetings on the front end of our projects to ensure subcontractor coordination along with clash detection. For the past decade of using BIM Technology, our clients have been thrilled with the overall benefits to project schedule, accuracy, and quality.

Drone & UAV Capabilities

Cyma offers drone capabilities for our active projects. Flights are performed to document project progress through both still photography and cinematic video; to support safety inspections in hard-to-reach or otherwise hazardous areas; to produce 2D and 3D site maps and topographic surveys; and to validate stockpiles and measure key site features. This technology enables consistent, reliable data collection across the jobsite.

Livestream Cameras

When erecting new buildings, Cyma has found the use of livestream cameras enhances security of the site along with convenient remote monitoring. Clients can also utilize the time lapse-functions of the system to see progress over the past year/month/week/day etc.
